Update - 19th November 2015

It's week 8 and the show is 2 days away! The final practice has been completed, Amy & Tracey have been training for 15 hours a week! The sparkles have been added, dresses altered and nerves and excitement are setting in!

We can reveal Amy & Tracey will be dancing on stage at the same time, performing the Jive, American Smooth and a freestyle piece - The Cell Block Tango from Chicago!

Amy has raised over £800 for Cynthia Spencer but would still like to raise more, if you would like to donate please do and thank you! A huge thank you to Modeca who have provided dresses for the American Smooth.

If you would like to vote for the girls on the night keep an eye on our Facebook page for the text details! All proceeds go direct to Cynthia Spencer Hospice.

Amy and Tracey are taking part in Strictly Northampton, an event in its sixth year, which is in aid of local Charity, Cynthia Spencer. Amy is a contestant with Tracey taking part as one of the professionals.

24 contestants have 8 weeks to train, learning two set pieces, the Jive and American Smooth and a freestyle group piece.
The competition, organised by Step-by-Step Dance School and sponsored by Aspers Casino, Northampton takes place at the Derngate Theatre in Northampton on Saturday 21 November. The annual event has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for Charity since it began. This year Robin Windsor from the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing is one of the guest judges.
Amy said “Not only do I get to dance, I am doing it to raise money to support the amazing work that Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity do. I have a target of £1,000 to raise – it’s a lot of money but all donations help.
By donating you will be helping me to raise as much money as possible to help Cynthia Spencer provide the very best palliative care to help both patients and their families.”
This is for a great cause and Amy would really like to do her very best in raising as much money as possible, if you are able to donate, even just a £1 you can do this through her Just Giving page:–
